Who I Help

As a queer, neurodivergent Latina, I bring both my professional expertise and lived experience to my work, fostering a therapeutic environment rooted in warmth, authenticity, and understanding. I am deeply committed to helping clients navigate life’s complexities while honoring their unique identities and stories.

LGBTQIA+ & Intersectional Identities
I am passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals as they explore their identities, navigate challenges, and embrace self-acceptance. With my personal connection to the community, I understand the importance of creating a safe and affirming space where clients feel seen and celebrated for who they are. Whether you’re questioning, coming out, or deepening your sense of self, I will walk alongside you with compassion and respect for your journey.

Racial, Ethnic, and Cultural Identity
I bring a unique understanding of the intricate tapestry of cultural diversity, navigating the complexities of existing between two worlds. As someone who has walked this path, I know how challenging it can be to reconcile cultural expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and personal values. My lived experience enhances my ability to provide empathetic and culturally sensitive support, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their own cultural identities, challenges, and aspirations.
Together, we’ll work to build empowerment, self-acceptance, and pride in your heritage.
Complex Trauma & C-PTSD
Healing from complex trauma requires a sensitive and individualized approach. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced chronic stress, relational wounds, or systemic harm. Through evidence-based modalities like ACT and DBT, I help clients develop tools to regulate emotions, foster resilience, and move toward lives of meaning and connection.
My approach is grounded in Liberation Psychology, acknowledging how systems of oppression and injustice intersect with trauma, and supporting clients in reclaiming their power.

Parenting & Family Dynamics
Parenting is one of life’s most rewarding yet challenging roles, especially when layered with personal and cultural expectations. I support parents in navigating these challenges, fostering self-compassion, and creating values-based approaches to parenting. Together, we work toward building stronger, healthier family dynamics that align with your goals and values.

Therapeutic Approach
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Frameworks, and Liberation Psychology into my practice, blending evidence-based techniques with a culturally affirming, anti-oppressive approach.
Incorporating somatic frameworks into therapy, I guide clients in connecting with their bodies to process emotions, release tension, and develop greater self-awareness. Somatic work can help you tap into your body’s wisdom, regulate stress, and address the mind-body connection, especially in the context of trauma and emotional dysregulation.
I also prioritize an anti-oppressive lens, recognizing how personal experiences and systemic factors intersect to shape our identities and lived experiences. Together, we will create a tailored therapeutic plan that aligns with your values, helps you build resilience, and fosters healing on all levels—mind, body, and spirit.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am honored to be part of your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
