Who I Help

My office is a space where people are celebrated for being brave enough to experience the world from their own unique perspective. I love working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I'm a kink affirming therapist who recognizes the validity and beauty of non-traditional relationships.

I also really enjoy working with those navigating challenges surrounding substance use/abuse, compulsive behavior, life transitions, depression, sexual health and sexual dysfunction, anxiety, neurodiversity, intellectual and developmental disabilities, self-esteem and self-worth, and stress management.

What Can You Expect?

I see therapy as art. When I am working with you, we have the opportunity to create something beautiful together. Starting with just a canvas, we slowly add layers and new color. Together, we experience the art making process, until the piece is "done enough for now."
My approach to therapy is collaborative -- we are in this together. I treasure opportunities to explore the narratives that the world has given us, and help sort through and find ways to deepen alignment with personal values.

LGBTQIA+
As a member of the queer community, I have lived experience with the complexities that come along with existing authentically in day to day life. I approach sessions from the lens of queer theory and enjoy integrating narrative therapy and ACT.

Sexual Wellness / Dysfunction
I am a strong believer that experiencing pleasure is one of the most important and personal acts of rebellion in the queer community. I enjoy working with people of all abilities to navigate the challenges experienced while exploring what pleasure means for them. Understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all way to navigate sexual health, I am eclectic in my approach. I enjoy integrating somatic and mindfulness techniques as tools to help individuals deepen their relationship to their successes in their journey toward sexual wellness.

Substance Use
I really enjoy and am experienced in working with folks who are changing their relationship with substance use. I use a harm reduction model to help you meet your personal goals -- whether that be moderation, total abstinence, or something entirely different. I integrate DBT, ACT, and supportive expressive therapy techniques.
