INSURANCE

*We do not accept Medicare and Medicaid. This includes: UPMC for You, Highmark WholeCare, Aetna Better Health, Gateway, and CCBHO. Please note you must also be a resident in Pennsylvania.

​SELF-PAY
Some clients choose to pay our self-pay fee so we are able to be "diagnosis-free". This means that we are not pressured by insurance companies to quickly diagnose you after our initial session (of course, diagnoses can certainly be made and will be discussed). This provides you with an extra layer of confidentiality with your employer, insurance company, etc., which is important to those who need discretion and want to avoid a label being attached to them long-term.

BILLING / OUT-OF-NETWORK REIMBURSEMENT
Please note that you are responsible for the full fee at the time of our appointment. However, we encourage you to check with your insurance company to see if you are eligible for out-of-network benefits. If you are, we can provide you with a form called a Superbill monthly that you can send in to your insurance company for possible full or partial reimbursement, depending on your plan.

To be transparent--please know that if you choose to submit a Superbill to your insurance company, we are required to add a diagnosis.
When you call your insurance company, simply ask them what address or fax # you send a Superbill to--we'll give you everything else you need!

PAYMENT
We accept cash, check, FSA/HSA, and all major credit cards to make it super convenient. Keeping a credit card on file makes payments as easy as us clicking a button.

SESSIONS + RATES
Sessions are about 50-55 minutes in length. Longer sessions can be discussed and scheduled in advance.

Our standard self-pay and out-of-network fees:

Interns: $40/session

Pre-Licensed Master's Level: $115/session

Independently Licensed Master's Level: $135/session

Psychologists: $150/session

Letters + Documentation: $75 per letter/document

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you do not show for your scheduled appointment, or you have not notified us at least 24 business hours in advance, you will be charged a $100 fee for the time that has been reserved for you.
